| The Acorn Inn in Evershot is a beautiful charming country Inn that dates back to the 16th Century. The building is gorgeous and full of history and fame. It is the Inn Thomas Hardy called 'The Sow & Acorn' in his book 'Tess of the d'Urbervilles.'.....Words cannot really decribe the character of the interior, it is something you need to experience for yourself but let's just say, it's stunning. You can also stay there which adds to the sensual nature of the occasion, but it is the spectaular food that really sets it apart. This Inn is for lovers of good food and wines who also appreciate lovely period ambience. It is a 'must visit' restaurant for everyone. |
