Monkberry's is one of the most stunning venue's in the South West. <b>Nothing can prepare you for the experience of walking through the door for the first time.</b> You really are entering a different world where style and elegance rule. The decor is modelled on the 1950's but it has a unique style all of its own. Everywhere you look you feel the the beauty and elegance of the building. It is visually exciting and also very relaxing. <b>A combination that instantly seduces you and the food?</b>.....Well, exceptional doesn't really begin to describe it. You should come here just for the pleasure of walking through the door, but the fact you can drink, dance and dine here just adds to the experience. Don't take my word for it though, go there and see for yourself. It is exciting, seductive and totally addictive.

Situated in the Soho Quarter of Bournemouth's fashionable West End, Monkberry's is a classic bar and brasserie with a stylish modern twist, a real neighborhood joint. It's a place to meet your friends for a snack, a long lunch, a cosy dinner or just a drink at the bar, then at the weekend descend on with a group of friends for dinner, drinks and DJ fun.
The Long Bar.
The dramatic, slate grey Long Bar is the focal point for ambiance at Monkberry's, radiating a unique style and sophistication with its ultra clean lines and depth. A tribute to the traditional Milanese aperitivo bars, it embraces the European love for early evening socialising with the focus on delicious pre dinner cocktails and small plates of complimentary tasting dishes, put together by head chef Russell Elson, during the aperitivo hours of 6-9pm, Sunday through Friday. Open til late at the weekends, The Long Bar is perfect for evening drinks, with resident djs playing soul, funk and swing from 9pm-1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
The interior.
The décor is inspired by the traditional glamour of the 1950’s with white leather Chesterfield furniture and black and white canvasses with imagery from that era. In designing the interior, we wanted to create the luxurious 1950's heyday feel with its beautiful elegance and style but also add a slightly contemporay feel to create something different, special and unique and we hope you like what we have achieved.

We only use fresh ingredients and produce in our food and everything is prepared and cooked to perfection.
