The Coppleridge Inn is all about providing exceptional food and service in a beautiful building where quality and relaxation rule. The interior is stunning with period features and a mezzanine gallery, four separate dining areas and a wondefully relaxing lounge complete with a big roaring fire. It also happens to be one of the best restaurants in Dorset and offers a unique and special dining experience.

We are a family-run Country Inn and Restaurant situated near Shaftesbury. Our main building is a converted 18th Century farmhouse set in 15 acres of meadow, woodland and gardens and offers you a beautifully relaxing environment in which to eat our food and and unwind from the stresses of life whether you visit for lunch or diner and at any time of the year.
The main house.
Within the main house, we have a warm and welcoming bar where we offer traditional beers and a wide selection of fine wines from around the world. You can also choose from a good range of home-cooked bar meals featuring traditional favourites, ethnic dishes, game, a daily changing fish selection and vegetarian dishes. But if you want something more special, our cosy candlelit à la carte restaurants provides fresh ingredients from local suppliers to provide a wide variety of dishes to please every palette.

We change our menues very frequently to match the seasonal and quality availablity of our fresh produce so please ask us when you visit and we will be happy to help you but to see a sample menu.

Weddings and functions.
We are set in 15 acres of meadows and woodland, overlooking unbroken views of the Blackmore Vale; and offer you a wonderful location for your WEDDING RECEPTION. Our magnificent 18th century barn has been carefully restored, retaining the beautiful oak beams, to provide a function room full of atmosphere and character.
