"We offer you a different kind of Indian dining experience to any other in Dorset. One of the reasons we opened our own Indian restaurant is because whenever we go out to eat Indian food it never appears to be cooked authentically. You may not know the difference but we do and because of this, we created the Red Fort which is unique from other restaurants that have developed their own brand of ‘western style’ curry, moving away from the real taste of Indian food. The difference is that our curries are traditional and taste the way they should, not the versions you get in most other Indian restaurants. All of our dishes are traditionally prepared, with no short cuts taken. Our regional Chefs, employed from India, also create their own diverse specialities and allows us to offer you something very special and very different.

The spice mixes we use are freshly prepared and ground for each individual dish, using Indian stone grinders and our dishes range from those found in Indian homes, Maharajas' Palaces to humble wayside stalls, bringing you authentic tasting Indian cuisine which tastes exactly as it was intended. You will find it very different to what you are used to and will be amazed at what you have been missing all these years.
