We hired the downstairs function room for 25 people with a sit down meal. As it was a hen do we wanted to have space to play a few games and also to be loud without upsetting others - this area was perfect. We took our own music we were allowed to decorate the table beforehand. The food was spot on - EVERYONE loved it and the whole night was a great success - thank you Tracy for being so helpful over the weeks while I was organising the Hen party. I would recommend Kayla's to all who want a party, a meal or even a drink - brilliant and great value for money!

Had a really light tasting steak, done to a turn with a gorgeously evocative salad and sauce. I was ravenous and I enjoyed it so much I had to write a review.
Having lived in and around the area for 10 years, moved to London and came back to discover the delights of The Rose and Crown Trent, I will visit again soon.
Food great, Staff lovely, All round Five stars.

I have to say that my husband and I were very disappointed with the quality of food. We had the Thai set menu and apart from the starters, everything was very bland. The service was quite slow but maybe it was busier than normal. Overall it did not live up to the description

Excellent Food and Service.Certainly the tables are close together as the restaurant is just in one room basically. I only visit at Lunch times(which is very busy) and would have given them 5 stars except that not many specials particularly are vegetarian.
